The Liberty Fleet of Tall ships is seeking Captains for the 2014 summer season on the 125 ft Tall Ship, Liberty Clipper and the 67ft Tall Ship, Liberty Star. The position is seasonal through September with possibilities of becoming full time through the winter season for the right candidate. Captains must be able to demonstrate leadership and excellent sailing skill and experience to run the deck and manage the crew. USCG 100 ton Near Coastal or inland Masters License with sail endorsement required as well as specific experience in leadership positions on Tall Ships. From June to September we offer public day sails and charters in Boston harbor. From November to May, we offer week long windjammer cruises in the Bahamas and Caribbean so you must be passionate about working with the public and have strong customer service skills.
